Question - Are you fit to be the Chelsea FC President and Co-owner?

Open letter to co-owner of Chelsea FC

FAO: Mr Todd Boehly

Dear Mr Boehly

Re: YOU SAID “IT IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO BE DEFEATED BY BRIGHTON”

Question - Are you fit to be the Chelsea FC President and Co-owner?

I cannot believe what you are doing!

I have been a proud supporter of Chelsea FC for over 30 years, despite that I was nearly bankrupted by the club - but that is another story.

With Roman Abramovich, we had exciting times; from time to time, we had thrilling times.

With you, it’s just frustration, shame and despair!

You bought a superb club, which over the last 10 years has won the most titles out of all UK clubs.

- You had the top-class Director, Marina Granvoskaia

- You had the top coach, Thomas Tuchel.

What do you have now?

- A club nearly in the relegation zone. Disgrace!

- A Director of Football who doesn’t have a clue what Chelsea needs. Disgrace!

- You appointed Graham Potter. Disgrace!

- You sacked Potter - shouldn’t have been appointed in the first place, but finally, something positive from you sacking Potter.

- You appointed Frank Lampard. Disgrace!

What on earth were you thinking to appoint this selfish geezer? I know he is rated in some supporters’ eyes as a good appointment and that he has support from the stands. Yes, but even I can get support from the stands - if I pay for a few “supporters” tickets and a couple of beers, give them banners “Great KOS” or “Super KOS” - just as they did for Lampard.

For me, and quite a few I know, he was always a selfish (non-team) player, only looking out for what was good for himself. That is why he become the best Chelsea scorer.

Only an idiot would appoint Lampard as Chelsea’s coach after sacking Potter – because his motivation has nothing to do with Chelsea as a club but is all about HIM – Super Frank! For his ego. If he was really pro Chelsea, he would never ever apply even less take this position.

What are his achievements as a manager?

He was sacked by Abramovich from Chelsea! Then he was sacked by Everton. He led Everton into the relegation zone; if Everton are relegated this season, it is all because of “Super Frank” and not the players

Does this not tell you everything you need to know?

Todd, you should go to Specsavers - you are blind about what is going on with "your" Chelsea.

- You bought a majority of players who are not good enough to be at Chelsea and not needed.

- With these purchases you made a huge mistake and have damage Chelsea Academy. This was Abramovich's "baby"; he personally invested nearly £2bn for CFC Academy. Talented young players were emerging constantly.

- You spent £600m on players who has no place at Chelsea but forgot to buy a really good goalkeeper for bargain price - goalkeeper Nick Pope (went for £10m to Newcastle).

Chelsea has always good goalkeepers: Cudicini - Čech, or Čech – Courtois.

What do we have now? Arizabalaga and Mendy. Kepa should not be in goal at all.

Previously we had top central defenders: John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Marcel Desailly, David Luiz, William Gallas, Frank Leboeuf, Alex.

What do we have now?

Superb and outstanding Thiago Silva (age 38), but none of the rest are the right fit for Chelsea FC.

Chelsea always had top Right-backs/Wingbacks: like Branislav Ivanovic, Cesar Azpilicueta (still at CFC age 33), or Dan Petrescu.

What do we have now?

Just one, Reece James (when he is in the right mood).

Chelsea has always had top left backs/Wingbacks: like Ashley Cole, Graeme Le Saux, Marcos Alonso.

What do we have now?

Again, just one good player: Ben Chilwell.

The midfield: Was also always top-class at Chelsea with Kante, Essien, Makelele, Robben, Fabregas and the cream de la crème Eden Hazard and Gianfranco Zola.

You have 14 (fourteen) midfielders. I am not aware of any club in Europe to have 14 midfielders.

Who should not be even in the squad? The first one Pulisic, next Loftus-Cheek and so on.

We now have Enzo, Kante (finally back) and Kovacic. Mount was OK with Tuchel, same as Ziyech because Tuchel has a plan not like Potter or now Lampard managers with NO plans and just fiddling with players. Apart of majority players you bought, you should go with Declan Rice (West Ham) instead. Not that he is the best friend with Mason Mount, both would be with Enzo, Kante and Kovacic rock.

Chelsea has always had at least one top striker: eg. Didier Drogba, Diego Costa, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Nicolas Anelka, Hernan Crespo or Gianluca Vialli.

What we have now?

Aubameyang sitting on the bench, as he's not “cup of tea” of your superb choice of managers (Potter and Lampard).

So, what will happen today in 2nd leg game against Real Madrid?

Nothing much - as (not)super Frank Lampard has no idea how to run the game, and where to play each player. There is NO plan and NO strategy.

He perpetuates the previous mistakes by keeping Aubameyang out and starting with Pulisich.

How stupid is this!

But don’t be surprised by the not-super Frank’s tactic – a sycophant just like Potter, wanting to please you by not naming Aubameyang for the Chelsea champion team and playing Pulisich instead, to please the American/s (read what I wrote 22nd February 2023 > CHELSEA FC ISSUES).

We’re all still waiting to see how you intend to balance the books [without being 1-4th place in our league and no UEFA income]– perhaps with a “sale of the players but with a 50% discount”?

If you are lost with running the club, I would be happy to buy it from you!

Name the price and just walk away for the club and supporters’ sake, before it’s too late.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely

Ps: John Terry would be better as p/t coach miles before Lampard! He was the "heart and soul" of the Chelsea FC and he would be with Thiago Silva support very good for Chelsea FC, would be nice duo.
