SHOW MUST GO ON

IT IS INSANE, DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND POLITICIANS

Make no mistake, daily life goes on in the face of adversity which has become a familiar feature of Ukrainian society. Opera houses and theatres have remained open since the first weeks of the invasion, Kyiv’s restaurant and bar scene is vibrant at least until the midnight curfew approaches, and the Black Sea beaches are filled with holidaymakers in the hot summer months. On top of which President Zelensky even authorised the opening of Ukrainian fashion week.

War – what war is in Ukraine?

This is like a joke – a perfect scenario from the previous comedian and now the President of Ukraine. I wrote about this in previous articles. The Ukraine “war” was a perfect foil for leaders who had failed in their own countries - like Boris Johnson, or even Joe Biden, who both needed some distraction for their countries’ own problems, e.g. Brits did not concentrate on the failure of conservative party, and

everybody had a happy Christmas.

The question which I have repeatedly asked, even to the new government, is “How long will the United Kingdom support all of this?”

There were no answers from the conservative party previously. However, I am speechless that I have not received any answer from the NEW United Kingdom government.

Instead, what I received was a letter from the government informing me that if I do not disclose all the names of my supporters and investors, with all the names, bank accounts, phone numbers and email addresses, I will be in contempt of court and jailed.

This is the thank you from the new government who I wanted to be elected; the government where over 400 of my volunteers were knocking on doors during the 2024 General Election campaign and made a huge effort to ensure Steve Reed, Sara Jones, Ellie Reeves, Natasha Irons were elected.

This is also the “thank you” from the new Labour government, to whom I was about to donate a minimum of €5.8 billion from a pharmaceutical contract which I did not want to give to Boris Johnson when he was Prime Minister of United Kingdom. I have stipulated what this money should fund, and that I require a written and signed confirmation from Rachel Reeves, Chancellor of Exchequer and Johnathan Reynolds, Secretary of Business to my solicitors that €5.8bn and £3.1bn will be spent as per my request and on nothing else.

Perhaps because I was so eager against supporting Ukraine, I will now be accused of being a supporter of Putin.

When Blair followed George W Bush into the war with Iraq and then against Gadhafi, I was against this, as there were no weapons of mass destruction anywhere – just the full mouth of Saddam Hussein’s garbage which kept aside the enemies like Iran.

Make no mistake, when Saddam and Gadhafi were around there were no ISIS or Hamas or Iranian activities against others; there were also no migrant crossings of the Mediterranean Sea, as Gadhafi had made a deal with the Italian president at the time. Europe would still be without 10.8 million migrants, who subsequently entered EU soil after Gadhafi and Saddam were “taken to the cleaners” by the British and American armed forces.

The same mistake is being made again with Ukraine. What this war has highlighted is that Putin gets huge support from China, Korea, India and even Iran. This would not be happening if the West had not interfered in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

Make no mistake, when it comes to using Western-made high-precision long-range weapons, it is a completely different story. It is not rocket science that the Ukrainian army is not capable on its own of making strikes with modern high-precision long-range systems of Western manufacture. They simply can’t do that. For long range missiles, data needs to be configured through computers using satellite data, which Ukraine does not have. Joe Biden and Keir Starmer should not give this the green light. It is as simple as that.

The satellites are currently in the hands of the EU and US and are de facto NATO satellites. China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, India, North Korea and a few others will not allow Ukraine to be given the green light to use these satellites to attack Russia. This system can only be operated by military professionals working as part of NATO. Ukrainian soldiers cannot do this. It is not a matter of allowing the Ukrainian regime to strike Russia with these weapons, or not. This is about deciding whether NATO countries are directly involved in a military conflict or not. If this decision is adopted, it will mean nothing less than the direct participation of NATO countries, the USA and European countries including the United Kingdom in the war in Ukraine. This is their direct involvement. And this, of course, radically changes the very essence and the very nature of the conflict. This will mean that the NATO countries, the USA and European countries including United Kingdom are at war with Russia.

Moscow has a legitimate right to announce that the West attacked Russia. The risk of retaliation against the EU and US using nuclear missiles becomes ever closer.

The West has already helped destroy the Russian warship The Moskva which sank in the Black Sea, which was the pride and joy of the Russian army. The Ukrainian army could not have sunk this ship without the one missile being satellite guided and I believe Putin is still a bit pisted-off because of this.

So, while fashion week in Kyiv goes on, the UK and US government are giving the green light to give Ukraine even more support with even more weapons - not just ordinary weapons, but long-range ballistic missiles. All of this in the name of “fighting the enemy (Russia)”, who is not even an enemy. The West are making Russia be the enemies, just like in the cold war during the 50’s.

It’s insane.
