TOTTENHAM vs MANCHESTER UNITED (FT 1 - 0)
I am a Chelsea FC supporter and cannot stand either Manchester United, even less Tottenham. I believe everyone in football circus knows that Chelsea and Spurs are the biggest enemies.
But lets concentrate on the final.
Final of the UEFA Europe League. What a game!
This was the game like hardship against misery. Manchester couldn't and Tottenham didn't want to.
Tottenham wins thanks to a lucky own goal! I am stunted, even if the commentator constantly names Johnson as the scorer and then closes the Scots.
Tottenham did not have a single shot on goal, not even a try, in the second half. And they miserably messed up the 2 counter-attack opportunities. It was the worst European Cup final since the Champions League final in 2019.
At that time, coincidentally, it was also an all-English final and Tottenham was back in the game. Back then against Liverpool. Who can still remember it. It was really a super boring game, despite two goals.
I cannot believe that Aleksander Čeferin (President UEFA) still believe that Europa League must be. I feel sorry for him that he was obligated to be there! Europa League for me is more like the qualification for a Champions League place.

Even the RTL commentator gives this impression when he asked shortly before the end "Will Spurs play in the Champion League next season?". How tick was this commentator!
Not a word about the fact that Tottenham is on the verge of winning its first international title in 41 years. The Champions League qualification is much more important. Not to mention that both clubs finished the Barclays Premier League in England on 16th and 17th place just above the three already relegated clubs, with 45 points adrift from Liverpool.
I was ashamed that world was watching such crap game, disgrace and disgusting having in mind what money they are paid weekly these players.
Make no mistake for me much better final would be a final Atletico Bilbao against FK Bodö, who would have been the first Norwegian club to be in a European final. They would work their socks off!
