THE ONLY CLUB IN EU WHO WON ALL FOUR MAJOR EUFA COMPETITION

Chelsea wins the Conference League 2025. Was this surprise for me? Not really, was my prediction from start. The club which is undoubtedly the youngest not just in the UK but also in Europe showed that the spending over £1bn made some result at last.
Chelsea FC wins after falling behind in the final against Betis Sevilla. The first 45 minutes Chelsea was completely lost and without any inspiration not even mention other issues. They were lucky that Betis did not score one or two more. Sevilla had started strongly in their first European final and deservedly took an early lead through Abdessamad Ezzalzouli (9th minute). The Spaniards remained the better team in the aftermath, so that the 1-0 lead lasted until after the break.
The second half was completely different. The inspiration become from Cole Palmer who made all it happened for Chelsea. Two invaluable, priceless and precise Cole's passes into the Betis penalty area lead to two goals of Enzo Fernández (65') and Nicolas Jackson (70'). Real Betis Sevilla – FC Chelsea 1:2 (1:0). Despite being finally ahead, Chelsea footballers want more and Chelsea managed to scored another two goals, both superb specially of Jadon Sancho (83'), but also nice one from Moisés Caicedo (90+1').
In the final in Wroclaw, the final result was not surprising that Chelsea FC beat Betis Sevilla 4-1 (0-1) and celebrated their first title since being taken over by a US consortium led by Todd Boehly in 2022.
Could be more goals if Betis would have a bit of luck, also on Chelsea end if Nicolas Jackson would have some ideas and knowledge how to play football. After a nice run in 78 minutes instead to score, his touch on ball was too heavy and easy to deal for Betis goalkeeper.
With the title win, Chelsea completed the European quadruple: After successes in the Champions League, Europa League and the former European Cup Winners' Cup, the club has now also won the Conference League - as the first club in history.
Make no mistake: I am still confused why on earth is the Conference League? On one hand they all are saying too much games per season while on the other there is more money for UEFA and some spare change for the clubs involved! Mystery for me, but seems not a mystery for RB Leipzig who don't want to play Conference League and lost at home to Stuttgart on the last matchday. And this despite the fact that the final will take place next year in Leipzig.
Ps: Before the game, there had been clashes between supporters of both clubs in Wroclaw. According to the Polish Ministry of the Interior, 28 people were arrested. The police were deployed with several hundred forces.
