IF SKY DON'T LIKE YOU - YOU ARE OUT (BUSINESS DECISION) SO THEY SAID ...

Last year week by week I was submitting my prediction on Super 6 against the Jeff (now retired). In many rounds my predictions was deleted with no answer from Super 6. When the new season started I tried to give it a go. However, surprise - surprise. When I tried to log into my Sky account I was denied.
I tried again on basis that maybe, just maybe I entered my credentials wrongly. But this was not the case. On my third attempt I received message to contact Customer Service instead. As the first round was just around the corner, I made straight contact with Sky Customer Service to get sorted my loggings and to submit my prediction at Super 6.
How wrong I was!
On the chat with representative (name available) she asked me a few security questions, and after 5 minutes she could not find why I cannot log into my account. She asked me to not go away that she will try to get to the bottom of this mystery with relevant department. I asked her to do so.
I mention her that I was with Sky for nearly 23 years and switch to Virgin on the basis of very bad services they provided. When it was raining I could not watch TV at all. However, I confirmed that I am still having with my Virgin (new provider) all Sky Sports and other Sky channels.
After quite some time, finally she is back with the answer.
"I am deeply sorry, but your account is blocked because of the Sky business decision - it was business decision you to be banned from Super 6 and Sky".
Business decision?
I could not believe what I am reading! What have I done? I was all my life with Sky, one way or the other.
On top of which, just for these particular free predictions at Super 6 for 6 of our Premier League games each week, I made to Jeff quite a few suggestions. Seems to me, they don't like my remarks.
So, what I mentioned (suggested) to Jeff in confidentiality?
That the betting against him is not rewarded properly. I stated clearly there should be at least 3-5 if not more rewards. What Super 6 still have in place is that they put all who were better than Sky pundits, in the draw for a single reward.
Wrong! For my opinion what I suggested to Jeff this was and still is wrong.
I have no objections that who get all 6 results correctly, win either £1m or £250k reward. However, completely differently is when there is no winner, then one reward of £500 is awarded to all who were better then Sky pundits.
For example, in this the last prediction - Round 3 the Sky pundits got just 4 points. So, by Sky's current system all who have 5 and over are eligible to be in that draw. What can happen here? The reward would be going to person who has just eg. 5 points (1 above the Sky pundits). How unfair is this! Friend of mine collected in this 3rd round 14 points, what is quite remarkable. So, she and all the rest with such or higher scores walks with nothing and are mixed with all other who have 5 to 13 points.
My options suggested to Jeff was minimum 3 group:
a) Group of 1-10
b) Group of 11-20
c) Group of 21-30
or even better 5 groups:
d) Group of 1-10
e) Group of 11-15
f) Group of 16-20
g) Group of 21-30
What I suggested for rewards (if 3 groups):
If £500 is in question this should be managed as follows:
1st gets £350 (21-30 points)
2nd gets £100 (11-20 points)
3rd gets £50 (1-10 points)
In case if the Sky pundits gets 14 points, then the rewards should be as follows:
1st gets £350 (21-30 points)
2nd and 3rd get £75 each (15-20 points)
I also suggested even more lucrative rewards under the system they are having in the place at present:
The best one (with the highest score) get £500. If 2 or 3 with the same score – the £500 to be split equally.
All the rest who was better than Sky pundits will be in the draw for 4 football tickets. I believe that it would not be a “big deal” for Sky to get 4 tickets for 4 contributors at Super 6.
This was one of 18 suggestions in total I made to Sky Super 6 previous “chief” Jeff.
Due to the insider at Sky I was told that there is no “official way” how they are doing the draws and who are and who are not in the pot for a draw what I also mention to the Jeff with no reply of course. All my suggestions to Sky gone as “puff of smoke”.
Were my suggestions the right way to band me? No way! Specially as they are saying in their ads that everybody can contributed and be part of the predictions at Super 6.
I wrote to the Sky Complaints – no answer, what is not strange and new for me as they never ever replied in past either!
The insider told me also, that all data (when people register for free Super 6) are shared and also sold to other parties inside and outside the group for marketing and all sorts of other things from betting to insurance and further.
Make no mistake, nothing is for free! Your data are used and abused, and for what? £500 which is more difficult to get then the Jackpot on national lottery!
