Mauricio Pochettino is a 100% the wrong decision.

Mauricio Pochettino is edging closer to becoming the new Chelsea manager as a report reveals the ‘real reason’ Julian Nagelsmann won’t be getting the job. It's suggested Nagelsmann walked away from Chelsea as he grew impatient with the process, but it’s now been claimed it’s was the club which backed away from negotiations.
Nagelsmann was favourite for the vacancy at Stamford Bridge, along with Luis Enrique. Now, both of those candidates are thought to be out of the running.
Mauricio Pochettino now become the favourite candidate, as revealed on Friday after the Julian Nagelsmann situation changed.
“With Nagelsmann, the timing was not helping. Chelsea wanted to take more time and speak to other candidates; Nagelsmann was expecting faster talks. Also some crucial points on the vision and on future project were not agreed.
“So Nagelsmann decided to leave the negotiations, although it’s also fair to say that Chelsea's choice was never 100% made or completed.”
However, that version of events is at odds with reports from other sources, who claim that it was Chelsea who decided against Nagelsmann, due to concerns about his ability to handle big players.
The report states: ‘A well-placed source has revealed that Chelsea were left impressed by Nagelsmann’s technical quality, his ideas and his modern approach. But after speaking to respected footballing figures, the Londoners grew concerned about his struggles to connect with big names and egos in the dressing room.’
As is the case at Bayern, Chelsea’s squad is packed with star names. For that reason, the club hierarchy are more attracted to Pochettino, who is said to have had a good relationship with the top players in his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
I cannot understand how Todd does not understand the Chelsea v Tottenham position!
In one of my articles, I wrote: “Chelsea played against Spurs 69 times, and in all these games Tottenham managed to win just 7 times. If we just focus on Chelsea games at the new Tottenham stadium, Chelsea played 3 times – 3 wins and not a single goal conceded”. We never ever make deals with Spurs. Not even for managers.
What is Mauricio Pochettino legacy as a manager? Sacked by Spurs, by the Belgian national team, PSG, … because does not deliver - as simple as that.
NO PASSION, NO DESIRE, NO NOTHING in his management or the game.
I bet that CFC supporters will not like him. I don’t.
Come on Todd, get realistic and bring someone who suite Chelsea. Diego Simeone would be posible choice, even Antonio Conte would be 100% better then Pochettino, and Conte delivered title in first year with Chelsea!
CHELSEA NEED PASSION AND DESIRE from players to managers!
Ps: Claims in the newspapers suggest that players would like Pochettiono I am not surprised at all having been landed with managers like Potter and Lampard. Even my Grandma would be better that this two "amazing" managers, if she would be still alive!
