1902 KING EDWARD VII 5d PURPLE/BROWN & ULTRAMARINE SG 242, MNH
VERY unusual stamp from King Edward VII era for 5d in Deep Purple/Brown and Ultramarine colour. Stamp seems to be MINT NEVER HINGED. Stamp with few issues (faults or errors): the left 5d is printed looks like that there was not enough blue colour for printing or is simple just an error. Furthermore this particular stamp is coming in completely different shade of colour - brown ones, which is very unique and very very rare. Having said that the price of such stamp is significant higher then the standard. We made image with standard stamp in Lilac colour on the left side which is NOT part of this offer (just for comparison ). Stamp well perforated and centred. Special Catalogue value is in region of nearly £1500.00 +75% for well perforated and centred standard stamp with no errors.
